Here at Albi, we source quality metals and use high quality plating. With that said, fashion jewelry (including plated, 925 Sterling Silver and expensive jewelry brands) can experience normal wear and tear like this over time. To extend the life of your jewelry, please give them occasional breaks and to keep them away from any moisture and creams.

Stainless Steel Jewelry

Our Stainless Steel filled jewelry is exceptionally durable and does not rust nor tarnish and is hypoallergenic. Majority of our pieces are meant to be able to withstand the daily wear. With that said, if the jewelry piece is gold plated, this means it has been dipped in a thin layer of gold, it needs a llittle more protection to allow it to last longer and not fade. Follow the below steps to keep your Albi peices looking as good as new!

• Give your jewelry a break 
• Put in your Albi dust bag when not in use
• Avoid harsh chemicals

We have tested our jewelry and we personally never take off our gold plated stainless steel jewelry when in shower, bath, swimming etc and they have been really resilent!

 

925 Sterling Silver Jewelry (all 925 Sterling Silver contains 92.5% sterling silver and 6.5% copper)

Please follow these tips to maintain the quality and prevent early tarnish of your 925 Sterling Silver jewelry:

• Keep them in your Albi Jewelry dust bag when not in use
• Avoid sweat
• Wipe with soft cloth
• Do not sleep in your jewelry
• Avoid chemicals (especially hand cream)
• Avoid bathing, showering or washing your hands with jewelry on
• Wait for hand/face cream to dry before putting on any jewelry 
• If your 925 Sterling Silver jewelry oxidizes, you can easily get rid of the dark marks and tarnish with a polish cloth
